Electric vehicle platform is flat and has no gas line and exhaust system going through its body, and therefore presenting an opportunity to divide its platform into two sections or transformable modules: a driving module (head) and a non-driving module (tail)!
The electric vehicle front section consists of operational and control components of a vehicle and costs at least 70% and the rear section about 30%.
Modular vehicle concepts are applied by automakers to make various vehicle models with standard platform and modular components. However, these practices only simplify the manufacturing processes and reduce manufacturing costs.
